From Katherine: "I'm sixteen years old and started golfing last summer. I'm a junior at Skutt and tried out for the golf team for the first time last July. I made it to Class B state by placing at districts along with my good friend and teammate Stephanie Kaiser, but my team didn't make the cut. Going to state individually my first year golfing was a huge honor. I've been taking lessons and working hard to get better ever since. The day before my hole in one, I was lucky enough to attend the Phoenix Open in Scottsdale. Seeing some of the world's best players inspired me, but I never would have thought the next day would have turned out like it did. For my age, I consider myself pretty lucky."
