Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the George W. Norris Legislative Chamber for the sixth day of the One Hundred Fifth Legislature, First Session. Our chaplain for today is Pastor Christopher Hazzard, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden, Nebraska, Senator Kuehn's district. Please rise.

Mr. President, there are. The Appropriations Committee has selected Senator Bolz to serve as Vice Chair. Government has chosen Senator Brewer as Vice Chair. In addition, I have a notice of committee hearing from the Government, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee. That's all I have this morning. (Legislative Journal pages 149-150.)

A series of announcements, Mr. President: Natural Resources has selected Senator Bostelman as Vice Chair; Rules has selected Senator Schumacher as Vice Chair. Notice of committee hearings from the Retirement Systems Committee and the Revenue Committee; a motion to suspend the rules to permit cancellation of a hearing on LB14. An announcement that the Reference Committee will meet at 11:15 in Room 2102; that's the Reference Committee at 11:15. In addition to that, Mr. President, I have a series of name adds. (Senators Kintner and Halloran add their names to LB68, Legislative Journal pages 158-163.)
